I went to bed last nite feeling a knot in my tummy I thought to much liquid and I ate 3 corn on the cobs so maybe I was too full. It was 2 am and still a knot and the baby is not moving much. I wake up at 6:15 am and baby still not moving as much as it's suppose to, I had already relieved myself and took a warm/hot shower. I'm getting dressed and maybe 2 movements from 6:15-7:15 so I'm really worried by now and still feel a tightness.
I called the OB at 7:30 am and at 7:55 they call and tell me to come in for an NST so It's 8:18 I get to office and they put me in the room I'm not stressed I'm calm and smiling, they set me up and they can't find the heartbeat for like 10 mins it's faint but not strong enough for the machine to detect it, so I have gunk all over my tummy they're looking, looking nada the nurse tries and it's too faint to get a read so the Dr comes in and what was faint is not their anymore so they try with the doppler and nada, I'm a lil tense and I've drank 2 cups of water to help get the baby up and moving but that's not working so the Dr. says I need to do an ultrasound huh, ok that doesn't sound like good news to me so I say ok.
We move to the U/S room and she puts the cold gunk all over me again and starts to look for the heartbeat we see the baby right away suckin' on his finger and just chillin', we see the heartbeat goin' strong and finally I can breathe again, yes! I was practically holding my breath till she said it ahhhh there it is the HEART she measured my fluids, placenta and some other stuff said everything is great gave me a pic of the babys face and then preceeded to scold the baby by saying don't ever do that to us again, behave and stop hiding! I had to laugh at this point b/c I was so relieved, [[[[BIG SIGGGHHHH]]] So much for my morning, just glad everything is good!!! ;)
