Donate Life, Cely's Birthday, Easter photos to take

This shout out is for our Chi-Chi, Priness, Beautiful, Beba she turned 7
3.31
and it was a crazy busy day for us we went to a ceremony early in the AM for Helena at the high school then we went got her balloons and ingredients for her cupcakes....
It took me 2 hours to get it all done, prep cooking and decorating em.. woot ohhh duhh I also made her the chocolate covered marshmallows cuz she LOVES those things!!!

Here she is w/her New Piggy Bank she begged for one since New Years and her waiting paid off she got it and the hat :) She got more stuff but this was my fav, jeje
-------------------------------------------------------------------
On Friday I went to The Donate Life Ceremony at the hospital

and I felt like I wanted to throw up once I got in front of the building I can't even say I was nervous while driving just the knowing what the hospital represents for us and what does Mason say when we get inside, where is Lali? yup he still thinks that she is somewhere inside. It's beyond my understanding how he still remembers he only went once the night she was transported b/c my dh had to drive and we didnt' have anyone to stay w/the kiddos so we all went my oh my how he remembers.... :/
The ceremony was nice and short, they did a slideshow of the Rose Bowl Ceremony since they donate $$ for the flowers and photos of our loved one's that donated life.

At the end we all got a rose and a candle w/the Rose Bowl Donate Life on it and they raised the Donate Life flag outside of the hospital, usually it's only done when a family has had to make the hard choice of donating so it was a very nice gesture.

I have to say I am happy that i went and it's great that Charlie gets recognition for what she has given and what we have lost... :/
I also want to say that they are the nicest group of people, they remembered all of us and even though I didn't remember all of them they were very nice about it, I was in a FOG so they understand....

--------------------------------------
On a lighter note....
I know Easter is right around the corner and every year I'm always thinking ok what am I going to photograph this year...
The top 3 I always get are: The Egg hunt, Dying Easter Eggs, (The dye in clear glass looks so good) Easter Baskets before and after these are always fun to look at my kids attack em!! If I went to Church I could get some there but I don't, don't judge me please.... Sunday Dinner everyone at the table hmmm must try
making Easter cupcakes or cookies these are a must they are so cute when they all gang up in the kitchen and start chattering away. I have my ideas all set now when the time is right I must put them into action.
As for the clear glass if you have a Christmas Tree Shop near you look in the kitchen area they usually have alot of stuff on clearance that you could use to put your dye in
if not then the Dollar Tree ;)
Whatever you do have fun I know crazy mama can come out cuz we want that one perfect photo but that's what I love about digital, I can take 100 and get like 10 good ones, LOL and the rest is delete delete and the kids are happy cuz I wasn't yelling the whole time, no not like that look here :)

I'm not sure what the rose ceremony was about but it sounds really sad, I hope to hear more about your story in future posts and I'm hoping everything is ok now.

I found your blog via scrapbook.com. Thank you for donating your loved one's organs - as a transplant recipient myself I know what a difference your sacrifice means to someone in need of an organ.
